Abstract:
What is the best strategy for enhancing income and reducing poverty of rural families? Researchers have traditionally looked at three areas: investing in the education of youth, Improving local economic conditions, and encouraging rural to urban migration. This paper seeks to look at the impact and implication of rural-urban migration for the rural poor in the Northwest.
